    Wildlife conservationist by profession with Ph.D. in Zoology and 47 years experience in Africa, of which 22 were in DRC, which included: Considerable fundraising to support the work; Starting and chairing the IUCN African Rhino Specialist Group.

    Currently Coordinator of the Borderland Conservation Initiative and EU project for trans frontier conservation of the Greater Kilimanjaro region.

    Author of the book “Garamba, Conservation in Peace & War” and several other publications.

    Keen dancer with experience in ballet, modern ballet, jazz, and ballroom, with performance experience in the 1970s and 80s and more recently danced in every annual performance of the Academy of Dance and Art .

    Co-founder and General Secretary of DanceSport Kenya and Co-developer of Dance Safaris in Kenya.
